This building is called a "Boutique Hotel." There is no lobby. You walk into a small space (nobody is there) go to a kiosk, pick the room you want, how long you want it, put the money in the machine and your key pops out.
This is used by Japanese men with their mistresses. There is no paper trail or eye witness. All of these hotels look like cartoons.
